WHO ARE WE? Here's our core group of friends & volunteers that you may hear & see a lot around the shop and on trips! Scroll down for pictures.....
Captain Joe Hammerhead the ultimate Lone Rider, he has ridden for 47 years and over a million miles on a motorcycle. Crossing across the USA from one end to the other! If you are considering bike riding, get good advise on becoming a life time rider. Joe served in the US Army as a MP in Viet Nam. He is a Purple Heart recipient. Every year since the 60's Joe rides out to Washington DC over Memorial Day, and since the creation of the Viet Nam Wall and Rolling Thunder Ride for the Wall, he has only missed going a few times. Joe is the expert on getting the right buggy, scooter or motorcycle for you.

MP Joe in Viet Nam...................................Warden Kathy & Captain Joe
Warden Kathy (above) The guys call me the Warden - I suppose I MAY get a bit bossy, sometimes! As Captain Joe's first mate, I'm very lucky! I got into this because Joe was teaching me how to ride a bike! My first bike ride he takes me out 2500 miles, in mid-October, down through the mountains of Tennessee, in the rain....we've been riding ever since. We love the dune buggys, we really appreciate our customers and our vendors are like family. We love life and we try to live each day to its fullest!

Charlie the Gold Wing rider, he comes in to help us on Saturdays and socialize. Charlie served in the US Army in Viet Nam and is a Purple Heart recipient. He is active in the VVA in Union Township, and will lend a hand to anyone who asks.

Buck known throughout the eastern Cincinnati area by virtue of riding his 1983 Gold Wing everywhere, all the time, and being the most well respected mechanic on all kinds of metric bikes. He retired from the US Army in the mid 1980's and we can say, Buck is the only one who still fits into his uniform! And does on some Rolling Thunder occasions! Kathy calls him "the exception" guy because when Buck talks that mechanic talk, there's always an "exception"! but that's what makes us glad to get his advice - he has years of experience. We're thinking of putting a "Advice from Buck" on a cardboard Buck outside, and make money off his expertise! Email if you think this is a great idea!

Wayne our own Mr. Smiley he does have a great sense of humor! Wayne is also a long distance bike rider and goes with us to Rolling Thunder and the fall ride to Deals Gap. We ride the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway and Skyline Drive. Wayne served in the US Army also, stationed in Thailand. Around the shop, Wayne is responsible for the newly landscaped "Thomas Trail" - a fairly steep muddy hill behind us, that we use for our buggy demo rides!

Professor Keith Hammerhead An avid buggy rider & bike rider, he is the ultimate Customizing your Buggy guy! He has custom themed more than 5 buggys, and his HH400 shark themed buggy can be seen on our Pre-Owned page!

Professor Keith Hammerhead........................................rides all the time!
Doc Sharan Hammerhead she kind of got roped in on the buggy riding, and as an EMT we dubbed her the Doc! Now she has her own Hammerhead buggy, after the Professor (yes, it's her husband) pretty much covered her in muck and mud! And then, typical of the Prof. says "get me a rag!" Sharan is also a lady rider, from Suzuki crotch rocket, to the V3 automatic motorcycle, to her new Harley!

Scout Dan Hammerhead Dan started with a HH buggys around 2004, and continues to keep the old ones going. He loves to check out new places to ride, and finds the most unusual places (hence, "Scout" really fits). We've followed him into the creeks, caves, mountains and hills - the places he has found are unbelievable. We have lots of faith in his scouting abilities, and proved it by following him just about anywhere - for example, lined up and following Scout Dan one morning, we were basically riding "in a creek" that I doubt many would actually find. As we passed this guy's farm place, even the animals took a second look at us as we passed through! Sign up for buggy trips, and meet Scout Dan in person!
Trailblazer Colin Hammerhead Colin has lots of buggy riding experience and is Scout Dan's son. He is our honorary Trailblazer, and you may even have talked with him at the Cincinnati Sports, Boat & Travel Show at the convention center.

Ray & Janis Our bike riding friends, Ray was stationed in Korea. They joined us on the Rolling Thunder Ride for the Wall ride in 2007. Both are quick to be there when we need them for the Buggy Shows at the annual Brown County Fair and Amelia Christmas Parade. They are great at loading and unloading, manning the booth for us, and riding in parades.
